TOURISM GRANT APPLICATION INFORMATION

The Leon County Division of Tourism  grant application for 2024 Special, and Sports Events Grants is now closed.

Event grant applications are evaluated based on the historical or potential ability to attract overnight visitors, appeal to the general public, promote the Bicentennial and demonstrate out-of-area marketing and promotion. Event funding requests are evaluated by the anticipated number of hotel room nights/overnight lodging in Leon County generated by the event.

In 2024, Tallahassee/Leon County commemorates and celebrates its 200-year anniversary. All grant applicants are strongly encouraged to embrace the Bicentennial anniversary and must include the Bicentennial logo, URL or by have Bicentennial programming as part of the event.
