Leon County has always been an outstanding venue for cross country events and greenways trails. With the opening of the Apalachee Regional Park Trail, the County now has the location that runners dream about. This trail was designed and built with the running public working side by side with the county. To make it the jewel that it is, took a lot of effort and love by everyone involved in creating this premiere track and trail.

Meadows Soccer Complex is a facility which plays host to a number of local organized soccer programs. The complex is located on Miller Landing Road, just off of Meridian, and boasts 10 large fields (some of them lighted). For more information on the complex, or to reserve a field, contact the hotline at 893-8989, or call the main TPRD number at 891-3866.
A $10.5 million facility, the state-of-the-art facility is located off-campus next to the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course. The main pool features up to 30 practice lanes and maintains a temperature of 80 degrees. The diving well features two one-meter and two three-meter springboards as well as one, three, five, seven-and-a-half and 10 meter platforms.

The Lifetime Sports Complex is located on the west side of the Tallahassee Community College Campus and it contains 3 basketball courts as well as multipurpose facilities for recreational usage. The recreation gym has open informal recreation time for basketball, volleyball, table tennis and more.
Located in the eastern part of Tallahassee, just east of Capital Circle SE between Mahan Drive and Apalachee Parkway, sits a huge park with everything you could want to do in it. This is the City of Tallahassee’s premier place to play, with numerous baseball and softball fields, bmx track, tennis courts, and wide open spaces.

Tom Brown Park also hosts many of Tallahassee’s special events, including the 4th of July Fireworks Show. Large special events are held here periodically, so you will be sure to frequent this park quite a lot.
