Many local farms provide their bounty to area restaurants for fresh farm-to-table delicacies, including fresh succulent seafood from the Gulf. Visitors can even head out to some of the local farms and see first-hand what they’ll be dining on later.

Just a short drive from Tallahassee is Thomasville, GA home to Sweet Grass Dairy, renowned throughout the country for their award-winning cheeses. They also offer tours of the farms, as well as cheese-making classes. It really is a fun, delicious time for the whole family.

For some of the finest country smoked sausage you’ll ever taste, make a trip to Bradley’s Country Store just outside of Tallahassee. Still family owned and operated, Bradley’s is a local tradition and has been recognized on the National Register of Historic Places since April 1984.
