Tallahassee, located in the Red Hills bio-region of lush landscapes and rolling hills, is the perfect place for equestrian pursuits of pleasure riding on numerous trails or competitions of national and Olympic level. Throughout the region, horse farms are plentiful and the equestrian community is strong in the area. A Tallahassee signature event, the Red Hills International Horse Trials occurs every March and is a qualifying event on the road to the Olympics and World Cup.
