Created in January 2008, the Atlantic Coast Invitational goal is to promote the sport of rugby in the United States by capitalizing on traditional collegiate rivalries and offering the student-athletes who represent their schools on the rugby field to participate in an event that their baseball, basketball, and soccer counterparts take for granted.

The 13th annual Gym Force Classic, which is a premier men and women's gymnastic invitational ages 6 to 18, will be held at Florida State University's Tully Gymnasium.  This exciting event will have nationally rated judges and great spectator seating.

Organized in 1985 and incorporated in 1992, the Tallahassee Tennis Association is recognized as a not-for-profit organization.  The Winter Super Series is a junior tennis tournament which includes all ages 18 and under.  It is open to all USTA member junior circuit players.  This event is historically well attended acquiring spectators from throughout Florida, southern Georgia, parts of Alabama and other surrounding states.

Touted as one of the major Meets in Florida, the ATAC Short Invitational Swim Meet is a premier 3 day, 7 session swimming event.  Sanctioned through United States Swimming, the athletes range from age 8 to adults.  This event has drawn in top level swimmers from the Southeast and Florida due to the proximity of Tallahassee to both regions.

The 35th annual Tallahassee Marathon, sponsored by the Gulf Winds Track Club and Capital Regional Medical Center, will attract distance runners of all ages and their families from many states and countries.  Starting and finishing on the fantastic Mike Long Track at Florida State University, the course is a flat, fast; out-and-back that covers approximately 18 miles on the scenic St. Marks Trail.  This race serves as a 2009 and 2010 Boston Marathon qualifying marathon.

This phenomenal Bass Pro Shop Crappie Masters Tournament will be held at Lake Talquin, Florida on February 7th.  A seminar will be held February 6th starting at 6:30 and our famous Kid’s Fishing Rodeo will be held as well.  This is a national qualifying event and it is open to all anglers (membership required).

The North Florida Volleyball Academy competes nationally at all age divisions with participants ranging from ages 6 to 19.  The NFVA is a youth Junior Olympic Volleyball Club that has contestants from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida.

The Tallahassee Jr. Grand Slam is a regional Super Series junior tennis event that will bring in youth tennis players from 3 to 5 states that includes Florida, Georgia, and Alabama to the capital city.  Established in 1990 the mission for the program was to give more kids the opportunity to play tennis and learn life lessons and skills.  The Grand Slam tournament will include a cookout and other events for the players to enjoy.  Participants regionally and nationally are encouraged to compete in this astounding Grand Slam event.

This 12th annual Capital City Cup has brought gymnasts from throughout the Southeast Region of the United States.  This competitive event offers gymnasts the opportunity to compete from levels 4-10 and from ages 6-18.  This is a USA Gymnastics sanctioned meet.

This is an AKC (American Kennel Club) All-breed dog show.   This show includes an amazing showmanship, agility, and obedience trials.  There will be over 1,500 dogs and over 2,000 people.  This amazing show takes place at the Fairgrounds.

Sport conditions are used at prestigious amateur events such as the Inter-Collegiate bowling championships, and by the International Federation of Bowling (FIQ) for various international competitions.  Though the conditions will be challenging - this is a handicap tournament (based on 90% of 200) - so the tournament will be competitive for bowlers of all skill levels.

This event is a Southeastern Sectional Indoor Championship which is being held in conjunction with the Florida Indoor Archery Championships.  The event will shoot 3 different events on the same weekend.  There are 2 Florida Sites for the Florida Event.  The Tri State Archers was formed in 1993.

The FAMU Relays has been a premier event in the community, regionally, and nationally.  This fantastic relay is open nationally to high school and Colleges and Universities.  It will be held at the Pete Griffin Track Complex in Tallahassee, Florida.

Competitive Cheerleading Championships FHSAA

The Florida High School Athletic Association Championship of all High Schools in Florida for Competitive Cheerleading.   Leon County Schools and the Tallahassee Sports Council will host this event.  With over 200 schools signed up an anticipated 3,500 athletes and families will visit Tallahassee for the 2nd Annual Competition.  tickets are $10.00 per day

The Tallahassee Comets Robin is a competitive basketball tournament open to all girls and boys teams regardless of affiliation.  Girls and boys basketball teams between the ages of 10-17 throughout Florida and the Southeast Region will be attending in preparation of national and college exposure events.  In addition, NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, and NCJAA coaches will be invited to attend and view talent rich teams.

The Florida State University Relays is one of the largest collegiate and high school track and field meet in the southeastern United States. Each year the event brings thousands of collegiate, high school athletes and coaches to Tallahassee for the three-day event.

The 34th annual road race is a USTAF certified course including a 5k (new this year) and a 1-mile fun run.  This course covers rolling hills through the beautiful Myers Park neighborhood and finishes flat and fast from the start area.

The Diamond Cheer and Dance was formed in 2005 and since its inception it has been a pillar in the genre of cheer and dance.  We have hosted cheer and dance competitions from November to April of each cheer season.  This event includes youth, adults, school, recreation, all-star, dance, duos, group stunts, partner stunts and individuals.
