Saturdays Downtown are Sizzlin’ Again!
Tallahassee Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Affairs Department Hosts Concert Series
Throughout May, June and July, the City’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department is once again presenting the Sizzlin’ Summer concert series at beautiful Kleman Plaza and Lewis Park (part of the Downtown Chain of Parks). Many of Tallahassee’s greatest local acts are scheduled to perform.
Saturday, May 3 is the series kick-off. All concerts from May 3 through June 21 will be held on the grassy area at Kleman Plaza, located off Duval Street behind City Hall and in front of the Mary Brogan Museum. Beginning Saturday, June 28 the fun moves from the Plaza to the park. From June 28 through July 26, all concerts in the series will be held in Lewis Park, located between Calhoun and Gadsden streets in the Downtown Chain of Parks. All concerts run from 6-8 p.m.

Friday, July 4 Celebrate America at Tom Brown Park
Saturday, July 5 No Concert
Saturday, July 12 Billy Rigsby Band
Saturday, July 19 Tallahassee Fiddlers
Saturday, July 26 Don Juan Band
The concerts are free to the public and plenty of parking is available underneath Kleman Plaza in the public parking garage. Street parking is also free on weekends. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
