Visit Tallahassee's Local Attractions to Kick Off The New Year

Amidst rolling hills, sweeping canopy roads and crisp, breezy nights, Tallahassee presents a season full of festivities. The LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts celebrates the 43rd Annual Holiday Show complete with lighted sculpture gardens, unique ornaments and whimsical decorations through December 29, and invites guests to come ring in the New Year with style. The new exhibit at The Mary Brogan Museum, The Architect's Brother, showcases the efforts of a hero attempting to redeem the world through acts of preservation. A short drive to Thomasville presents Pebble Hill Plantation, providing festive tours of the decorated main house and open grounds. And the Capital City Countdown free party at Kleman Plaza -- with family fun and fireworks to dancing, dining and toasting -- is the place to be on New Year's Eve.
