Meeting & Event Planner’s Guide
Meeting & Event Planners
In Tallahassee it all comes together for successful meetings. With approximately 6,000 hotel rooms and 400,000 square feet of meeting space, it is the city’s inviting hospitality that keeps groups coming back time and time again. In fact, meetings in the Capital City have a rich history dating back to 1539 when Hernando de Soto established his winter encampment. Of course just as historic was the legendary 1824 government meeting that officially declared Tallahassee the state’s capital.
Tallahassee has a variety of meeting/event venues for groups of 10 - 1,200 people. From the FSU Conference Center with 47,000 square feet of state of the art meeting space to conference hotels such as Tallahassee’s newest boutique property, Hotel Duval with eight meeting rooms including a roof top ballroom overlooking downtown, it’s all right here. There are even unique attractions with meeting facilities that offer a built-in history lesson. For a complete listing of Tallahassee venues download our Meeting & Event Planner’s Guide.
