These lakes form the Bradford Brooks Chain of Lakes. They are located on the southwest side of Tallahassee. This chain is formed by waters that flow from one lake to another. There are magnificent cypress trees that surround the tannic color lakes. The FSU Reservation offers recreational activities and rent canoes, kayaks, and sailboats. The Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science is just a few miles away and offers animal and historical exhibits, nature trails, restrooms, the Trail Break Café. This is a great place to visit to see wildlife.

Directions from I-10:
Take exit 196 and head toward the Tallahassee Regional Airport on Capital Circle. Continue on Capital Circle to South Lake Bradford Road, County Road 2205. Turn left on South Lake Bradford Road then turn left on Flastacowo Road. The road ends at the Florida State University Reservation.
From Capitol: Go south on South Monroe Street. Take a right on Orange Avenue. Go approximately 1.5 miles and turn left on South Lake Bradford Road, County Road 2205. Turn right on Flastacowo Road.
