For ages 11 & 12 We will be exploring different Art mediums, styles and techniques. Drawing, painting, watercolour, collage, printing etc. Classes are limited to 6 places. Fees are $36 per session and includes all materials including a stretched canvas. Tallahassee Bach Parley Concert: "Peasant Cantata"

Audiences will hear stories that come to life through music at the final Tallahassee Bach Parley concert of the season, featuring Baroque music that includes J.S. Bach's "Peasant Cantata" along with works by Telemann and Boccherini. The Bach Parley performs Baroque music on period instruments to provide a musical glimpse into to the past with the talents of Brian Arsenault, Valerie Arsenault, Miriam Barfield, Karl Barton, Daniel Collins, Lorraine Fader, Kim Jones, Evan Jones, Karyl Louwenaar Lueck, and Lesley Maxwell Mann.

16th Annual Florida African Dance Festival

The drums are calling you to the 16th Annual Florida African Dance Festival (FADF) June 6 - 8, 2013 in Tallahassee, Florida at the Tallahassee Community College. FADF is a 3-day conference that features internationally renowned artists in dance and drum workshops and an exciting performance concert at FAMU's Lee Hall Auditorium on Saturday, June 8. Other highlights include special dance workshops for children, festival vendor marketplace, natural hair show, and health focus on hypertension. Florida Artist Group Exhibit at The Lemoyne Center of Visual Arts

The Florida Artist Group, the oldest state wide not for profit art group in Florida, will have an exhibit at The Lemoyne Center of Visual Arts on North Gadsden Street. The reception is a free event and open to the public. Friday June 7th, 2013 6:00-9:00pm. The songs were inspired by his brother's return from the Vietnam war, and other social ills of this era. Join us as we bring to you live music, poetry, singing and dance within the backdrop of a modern day coffee shop with its colorful and interesting customers who frequent the shop.
