An annual juried competition open to artists worldwide, with a wide range of media and subject matter.
The Tallahassee International is an annual juried competition sponsored by the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts and juried by faculty from the College of Fine Arts. The competition is open to artists worldwide. This year close to 250 artists entered the competition giving the jurors nearly 500 works to consider. After much deliberation, 34 works by 22 artists were accepted for the exhibition. The pieces chosen represent a wide array of contemporary work, encompassing all art forms from traditional to unconventional.
Opening Reception: Friday, September 1st from 6:00-8:00pm
*Exhibition runs August 28th through October 1st. Admission is FREE and open to the public!
