A new farmer’s market has formed at The Centre of Tallahassee’s Brickyard next to Dreamland BBQ. The new market is Brickyard Farmer’s Market, open Saturdays 8 am - 4 pm. The local farming produce includes seasonal, local fruits and vegetables, such as watermelons, cantaloupes, peaches, nectarines, plums, blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, roma tomatoes, grape tomatoes, yellow crookneck squash, zucchini squash, white scalloped (patty pan) squash, white acre peas, zipper peas, black-eyed peas, butter beans, yellow-white and bi color sweet corn, field corn, okra, eggplants, red-yellow and green bell peppers, jalapeno peppers banana peppers, cucumbers, pickles, sweet onions, red onions, white onions, red potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Also for sale: baked goods, fresh cut herbs, cut flowers and boiled peanuts.
