Come out to the Tallahassee Museum for one of the region’s best two-day jazz, swing, and rhythm and blues music festivals! Get up and dance, sit back and enjoy the music, or take part in fun activities on the pioneer farm. Plenty of tasty treats and frosty beverages will be available at the cafe and cash bar! Come on out and enjoy one of the Tallahassee Museum’s great concerts! Guests are welcome to bring camp chairs and blankets.
The Tallahassee Jazz & Blues Festival enables visitors to experience our cultural heritage in this American musical art form, including Dixieland, swing, contemporary jazz, and more. The event was started to both help preserve this music, and to present it in an environment where our members and visitors could enjoy it with their entire families, and is the oldest continuous Jazz & Blues Festival in this area.

Start off a great Jazz and Blues Festival weekend with good eatin’ for a good cause!
On Saturday, April 28th , between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. enjoy a hearty, outdoor meal at our Pioneer Breakfast on the 1880’s-style farmstead. This down-home fundraiser features Register’s freshly grilled sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes and real Bradley’s Country Store grits. The Museum’s Board of Trustees will serve up heaping helpings, along with coffee, juice and milk.
