Stomping Out Type 2 Diabetes

Join us for a day of family fun, fitness, and healthcare screening as Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, the Foundation for Leon County Schools,Tallahassee Parks and Rec., and other community partners work together to combat type 2 diabetes, a disease often associated with obesity. There will be a 5K run and 1 mile fun walk, bike races, school fitness challenges, fishing and disc golf tournaments, and free healthy lunches for registered participants. In addition, TMH and FSU Medical School will be conducting wellness screenings and there will be exhibits displaying healthy choices and give-aways.
