Romantic Weekend Itinerary

Sometimes after an endless week of hard work, a relaxing weekend of bliss with our favorite person in the world is needed. Luckily, you can plan your weekend getaway to Tallahassee with plenty of options for an unforgettable time with you and your loved one.

Friday Night

Start your evening with a romantic stroll through the beautiful Cascades Park before you make your way over to The Edison restaurant where you can treat each other to a delicious meal. Here you can choose from a wide selection of top-notch takes on classic dishes.

Make sure to grab a table on the outdoor second floor deck to best enjoy a view of the park. Here you can watch the sun sink past the tree line, bathing the entire park in golden light as you clink together your wine glasses, toasting the start of the weekend.

Saturday

Wake yourself up this morning with a cup Lucky Goat coffee from one of their three locations — this Tallahassee favorite serves up perfectly blended roasts with a wide menu of options from cold brew to espresso’s and lattes. After, get outdoors and spend some quality one-on-one time with your significant other as you quietly float under a canopy of trees and serene water on the Wacissa River, or wander hand-in-hand through the unique beauty of Maclay Gardens.

If this isn’t enough exercise, try out couple’s yoga at Journeys in Yoga, or simply relax with a beer at Proof Brewing Company’s outdoor patio where you can play corn hole and enjoy live music.

Sunday

After all of this adventure, there’s no better way to finish off your romantic weekend than Sunday brunch. There are plenty of great brunches to be found throughout Tallahassee at restaurants like Uptown Cafe or Bada Bean.

For a different vibe, Liberty Bar and Grill is known for their hand crafted cocktails and ever-changing artisanal menu. Or go classic at Canopy Road Café’s modern tribute to the American Diner with plenty of fun, unique variations of omelets, pancakes, waffles, and more.
