This cozy shop that feels just like grandma’s kitchen and be enchanted by the swirling mix of sweet aromas from behind the counter. Donut Kingdom

All hail the Fruity Pebbles Donut! This is just one of the many unusual flavors found at the Donut Kingdom. Some of them may sound a little bit odd, but Donut Kingdom always makes them work. Not only does DK offer freshly made donuts, but you can also appease your sweet tooth with milkshakes, ice cream, or donut-ice cream sandwiches. And if all the sugar doesn’t give you enough energy, help yourself to some local Lucky Goat coffee.

Lofty Pursuits

What started out as a toy store in 1993 has since become a full-service, old-fashioned ice cream shop offering a soda fountain, a Victorian candy-making kitchen and brunch room, with local art exhibited throughout the space. This easily makes it one of the most unique (and tasty) places in Tallahassee.

Lucy and Leo’s

Lucy and Leo’s is a cupcakery named after the owners dogs, and offers a wide variety of cupcake flavors, all made fresh daily. Founded in 2009, owners Bates and Lucas wanted to give Tallahassee something sweet and wallet-friendly. Since then, they have gone on to appear on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars and have become local favorites renowned for their freshly baked treats.

Magda’s

Madison Social has continued their amazing take-over of CollegeTown with the opening of Magda’s, a coffee and ice cream parlor. The shop offers locally roasted Lucky Goat coffee, but with a unique twist: cereal milk lattes which is a perfect for a sweet start to the morning. Magda’s has also become known for abundance of ice cream toppings as well as homemade waffle cones, created right in front of you.

Mr. Cool Ice Cream Roll

Try one of the 10 ice cream roll flavors, or add your own toppings such as fruits, syrups and graham crackers. Mr. Cool also offers nitrogen ice cream, the newest way to make “instant,” creamy ice cream

Sugar Rush Bar

Tallahassee’s take on one of the hottest dessert trends: “freakshakes”. These milkshakes are not for the faint of heart, as they come topped with even more sweets, including full slices of cake, Pop-Tarts, a literal ice cream cone, cookies. Sugar Rush Bar also offers topping-covered cheesecake and waffles, as well as build-your-own cups and cones of ice cream.
